- DOLAUCOTHI GOLD MINES -
Experience a taste of history at the Dolaucothi Gold Mines, nestled in the Cambrian Mountains. Take a guided tour to explore the ancient Roman workings and see the 1930s mine yard with its historical buildings and machinery. Try your hand at gold panning and see if you can strike it rich!
- NATIONAL WOOL MUSEUM -
Located in Dre-fach Felindre, the National Wool Museum provides a fascinating insight into Wales' woollen industry. Learn about the full process from fleece to fabric through engaging displays and working machinery. The museum features historic equipment like the Willower – a large drum used to disentangle wool. Enjoy a raised walkway offering a unique view of textiles in production at the Melin Teifi commercial woollen mill, and explore the National Textile Collection in the Textile Gallery.
- GWILI RAILWAY -
Gwili Railway is one of the UK’s most picturesque preserved lines. Set in beautiful countryside with abundant wildlife, the line follows the River Gwili on a steady uphill journey through farmland and wooded hillsides.

​Beyond the locomotives, history and scenery, the railway’s appeal lies in the friendliness and enthusiasm of the volunteers who maintain the railway and operate the services.
- THE LOFT -
The Loft is an exciting entertainment centre perfect for visitors of all ages, offering a variety of activities Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until the last booking at 5 p.m. During school holidays, it opens an additional day on Wednesdays. Guests can enjoy food available throughout the day and explore unique attractions like the Escape and Challenge Rooms, with the newly introduced "Sink or Swim 2: A New Adventure!" in the wardrobe-themed challenge room.
- XCEL BOWL -
Xcel Bowl is about more than just bowling. We love Carmarthen and the people who live here. We wanted to create something to help Carmarthen thrive! So we came up with Xcel Project. At its centre a Bowling Alley, bringing jobs and investment into Carmarthen as well as a community gathering space. All our profits go towards supporting local people in need through Carmarthen Foodbank, Community Money Advice, and Xcel Furniture and Community Shop.
